It seems like $this->newDiWikiPage($value) targeting SEQL\DataValueDeserializer::newDiWikiPage() can also be of type object<SMW\DIWikiPage>; however, SEQL\DataValueDeserializ...DataValueFromDataItem() does only seem to accept boolean, maybe add an additional type check?

This check looks at variables that are passed out again to other methods.

If the outgoing method call has stricter type requirements than the method itself, an issue is raised.

An additional type check may prevent trouble.

Documentation introduced by
$this->newDiContainerOnR...($value, $propertyList) is of type object<SMWDIContainer>, but the function expects a boolean.

It seems like the type of the argument is not accepted by the function/method which you are calling.

In some cases, in particular if PHP’s automatic type-juggling kicks in this might be fine. In other cases, however this might be a bug.

We suggest to add an explicit type cast like in the following example:

function acceptsInteger($int) { }

$x = '123'; // string "123"

// Instead of
acceptsInteger($x);

// we recommend to use
acceptsInteger((integer) $x);
